All About Me: I’m McKayla Barr, a 16 year old inspiring artist and writer. I love writing, which adds a bit of irony that I’m stuck in my English courses, but I digress. I live with my Nana, Mom, and brothers Colton and Andrew. I have twelve siblings, most of them half siblings on my dads side. I’m a part of the Lively High Creative Writing Club run by Mr. Pacchione. It’s the best club ever. It's one of the only places I feel completely safe being myself. Everyone in it is super nice and supportive, and I love it there!Semester 1 Goals: This semester is the semester I wanted to stop falling behind. Obviously that didn't happen. But I’m still determined to pass my classes this time, and now that my knee is starting to undergo treatment, and my mental health has been on the rise, I believe I can actually do it this time. I’m gonna put my all in going forward.Learning Styles: I’m a visual learner. I need to have something shown to me so I can understand it fully. I’m a very hands-on learner. I learn better watching someone do something, then doing it myself. I hate when I don’t have something to copy from, it makes it waaayyy harder for me to do the assignment.
